‘A day under question’ is about the
(artist’s) books by Mikhail Pogarskii
(born 1963) of whom Goppe previously
had made a sculpture (see cat. 115).
This book is to promote the artist’s book
in Russia. Pogarskii himself is one of
the main promotors of the Russian
artist’s book and the first to have written
an extensive handbook on the history
of the artist’s book in Russia.
