A wreath of sonnets is a traditional form of poetry.
A wreath (crown) consists of 15 sonnets. The
first line of the second sonnet coincides with the
last line of the first sonnet, the first line of the
third with the last line of the second, and so on.
The fourteenth sonnet completes the first line
of the first sonnet (as if the first sonnet begins
on the last line of the fourteenth). The fifteenth
Sonnet consists of the first lines of the preceding
14 sonnets. The form wreath of sonnets was
invented in Italy in the 13 century. It is a very
                             th
difficult poetic form that requires exceptional skills
(especially in the selection of expressive rhyme)
of the poet. Each sonnet in this wreath by the
poet M. Kudriachev (no data known) is written and
illustrated with silkscreens by Goppe and printed
on a separate sheet of paper.
