The poets Igor Kholin (1920-1999), Genrikh Sapgir
(1928-1999), Edward Limonov (born 1943), and
Vagrikh Bakhchanian (1938-2009) together formed
the group ‘Konkret‘. All belonged to the wider circle
of non-conformists of the Lianozovo group. For
this copy of Kholin’s verses, Goppe used 8 original
watercolours as illustrations and designed a special
cover also in watercolour. In 2015 Goppe published
a second edition of this collection of verses with new
lithographed illustrations (see № 152).
